When blasting jeans and other textiles (denim blasting), the best results are achieved with a blast cleaning abrasive that combines a fine grain size with a precise granular structure. Eurogrit aluminium silicate (coalslag blasting grit) grade A1 and A2 offer an excellent solution.
To cater for the needs of the textile industry (denim blasting), we have developed a special grain size, known as Eurogrit A2 special grade (0.2 – 0.8 mm). This grain size of coal slag grit is slightly finer than the standard A2 abrasive. As a result, the risk of damaging the textile is limited. Another alternative is brown fused aluminium oxide, which can be re-used several times.
