Steel grit is produced by crushing steel shot, thus having the same chemical properties. A special heat treatment process ensures an optimum microstructure and hardness. Three types of steel grit are available, with varying degrees of hardness.
Steel grit is a high-velocity abrasive that is suitable for compressed air blasting in enclosed recycling systems, such as shot blast rooms, cabinets etc.
