Chilled iron grit is produced from carefully selected alloy free iron scrap that is recarbonised in a hot blast cupola. The shot obtained by this process, is then crushed into grit particles.
Chilled iron grit is a high-velocity abrasive that is well suited to compressed air blast cleaning applications in shot blast cleaning rooms.
