The 32 year old drilling rig "The Blackford Dolphin" will be prepared for a new life during 2007. The semi-submersible rig will be completely converted into a state-of-the-art drilling platform suitable to drill in water depths of 2100 metres. Rozenburg based off-shore yard Keppel Verolme has received the contract for the conversion which will take place in three different location and Eurogrit BV supplies the blast cleaning abrasives for this project.
